Ida Lee Park Tennis Center and the A. V. Symington Legacy
At the heart of Loudoun County tennis is the Ida Lee Park Tennis Center in Leesburg. This facility is more than just courts — it’s a year-round hub for instruction, leagues, and community connection.
The A. V. Symington Indoor Tennis Center, completed in 2008 thanks to a generous posthumous donation by A. V. Symington, transformed Ida Lee into a year-round tennis destination. Her gift continues to serve Loudoun residents and visitors who love the game.

Programs
Youth tennis programs at Ida Lee include Quick Start Red, Orange, and Green Ball, as well as intermediate and advanced classes for older juniors. The Leesburg Tennis Academy is designed for players committed to tournament play, and Middle School Flight offers development for ages 11 to 14.
Adults can take beginner through advanced classes, join USTA league teams, participate in team drills, or arrange private lessons.

Country Clubs With Tennis in Loudoun County
For players seeking a club atmosphere, Loudoun County offers several private and semi-private clubs with strong tennis programs.
River Creek Club (Leesburg)
Six hard courts, four of them lighted. The River Creek Tennis Association organizes leagues, tournaments, and social events.

Loudoun Golf & Country Club (Purcellville)

Stoneleigh Golf & Country Club (Round Hill)

Raspberry Falls (Leesburg)
Two resurfaced courts with pro-level synthetic surfaces, included as part of HOA amenities.

Other options include Belmont Country Club in Ashburn and similar communities that combine tennis with golf, swimming, and social amenities.
Middleburg Tennis Club
The Middleburg Tennis Club offers one of the most complete tennis experiences in Loudoun County.

Facilities include five indoor courts, six outdoor clay courts, and two outdoor hard courts. Programs include clinics, lessons, USTA league play, and junior summer camps. The club also features a fitness center, pool, and social activities.
Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion
The Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion is a community-focused hub in eastern Loudoun with structured junior and adult programs.

Junior tennis programs run from Tiny Tennis through competitive academy levels. Adults can join drills, team practices, and league play. The Pavilion also offers indoor flights and summer tennis camps. Membership is included for Ashburn Village residents, with options for non-residents.
Neighborhoods With Tennis Courts in Loudoun County
Many of Loudoun’s neighborhoods include well-maintained community courts as part of their HOA amenities. These are especially appealing if you want tennis built into your daily routine.
Ashburn Village – multiple courts plus the Sports Pavilion
Cascades/Lowes Island – about 15 courts across the community
Sugarland Run – two courts, one also lined for pickleball
Raspberry Falls – two HOA-maintained courts
The Ridges at Belmont and other Ashburn neighborhoods – community courts within walking distance
Public park courts are also available throughout the county, including Lovettsville, Franklin Park, and Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park.
